On Tuesday April 3rd, The Fund for the School District of Philadelphia and a team of world renowned Philly DJs will host our KEEPING THE BEAT happy hour. The main event, a DJ showcase, will be held from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at CODA (1712 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19103) in Center City Philadelphia followed by an extended mixer.
Thanks to our sponsors, attendees will be able to meet and greet with their favorite Philly DJs and experience live performances, in exchange for their donation to our School District of Philadelphia AED maintenance fund. KEEPING THE BEAT is a health and wellness initiative that asks donors to “have a heart” by donating towards the maintenance of heart-saving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in Philly schools.
The FUND is proud to launch the KEEPING THE BEAT campaign with premiere Philly DJs: Tina Dunham ( DJ Diamond Kuts), Josh Wink (DJ Josh Wink), Rich Medina (DJ Rich Medina), and Maurice DeLoach (DJ Aktive), along with our partners CODA,The Greater Philadelphia Film Office, American Heart Association, Eagles Charitable Foundation, Jahri Evans Foundation, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Louis T. Savino Foundation, The Philadelphia Bar Association, and Jefferson Hospital.
The VIP experience includes complimentary appetizers courtesy of Rob Waserman/Rouge restaurant, open bar from Tito Vodka and Origlio Beverages, and a heart shaped pendant for entrance into future events.
